I understand that this is a portal forum and I have a web dispatcher related question and could not find a suitable forum. If somebody can direct me to another forum name that is also appreciated.
Anyway, my issue:
Currently I am using the standard maintenance page whenever I need to update my portal system. That does not have user friendly message. I found instructions on SAP's help about setting up a customized maintenance page by creating a file called ICMERR-EMAINTENANCE.html (or something like that) and updating the web dispatcher profile with the path to the file. I did all of that and when I go and enable the maintenance page I still get the standard one. I could not find much help in SDN surprisingly.
I appreciate any help/instructions/ideas. Points will be awarded.
