Work order Costs from cost elements

Hello Experts,

We have a single cost element assigned to two different cost elemnt groups (Value categories).

After releasing a work order, we could see cost updated in cost report of work order for only one cost element group(Value category).

Example:

we have 2 Value Categories 001(OlD Val cat) and 420(New Val Cat).

We have assgined 62006000(Example element) cost element to both the Value categories.

In cost report of work order we could see cost pulled only for 420(New Val Cat) not on 001(OlD Val cat).

Please suggest is there any way to get cost updated for both the value categories.
