How to expose the ESS/MSS/HR Professional portal to internet

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement to access the ess portal via  internet. What are the mandatory steps to follow to expose ess portal to internet from ECC and Portal level..

This portal  configuration is ECC 6.0 EHP7 HR Renewal 1.0 feature pack 04.
