Portal branding on Masthead in EP7.3

Hi Everyone

I am trying to customize portal brading on Masthead using Theme editor and are facing below issues with it.

1. Branding image is coming in center whereas I need it on Left Hand Side just next to Welcome Area. I have tried increasing and decreasing width of the image but this did not make any difference. I also tried modifying Repeat property and this also had no positive impact.
2. I applied a border to the Masthead but this sometimes appears and sometime does not appear. Refreshing screen makes it work but all of you will agree that users will not like it. So, what could be the issue with this and possible solutions?

Anyhelp on the above will be useful.
