In our landscape we have EP 7.3 as front-end Consumer Portal and have MDM & BI (EP 7.0) Portals as back-end Producers. The Federation is working fine.
We came across a strange issue on our production. When we access Portal URL, when the irj/portal component is loading, it is checking for the dependent Federated producers are up & running, If one of them is down, it is not loading the Login Page and trying to display the page for ever and users can not access the EP 7.3.
Can any one have some pointers or have any idea on what could be the reason for the issue and how to avoid this dependency ? The front-end Consumer EP 7.3 Portal should work even the back-end producer portals are down.
