We are currently implementing ESS/MSS in our landscape and have implemented the Netweaver 7.0 EHP2. We want to set the idle time auto logout in the portal. Is there a parameter setting in the current versions which can take care of this autologout?
I checked the below links which talk about javacripts to accomplish the timeout functionality, but we currently do not have the javascript developers and we need to get the auto logout option activated as soon as possible.

1. Can you tell me if the above solution is still possible for our version and can you tell me what is the location of the Masthead.par file?
2. Can we deploy the resultant .par file in the system without using NWDS. If yes how do we deploy it?
3. We do not want the warnign solution in the above solution but it should just logoff the user.

Can I deply the above resultaing .par file without NWDS and just copy the file to a portal directory. If yes then which directory should I place the file.
