I have a serious problem here.
I guess I have mistakenly point to the parent folder, and execute the copy to the child folder in the PCD Tool.
The end result is it created the infinite copy loop action. This action has caused thousands of portal objects creation in the loop.
Until now, we can't even see the depth of the folder hierarchy that caused by this action.
We tried to delete the folder using PCD Tool again. But the operation is timed - out, I guess it is due to the path of folder hierarchy we are deleting.
We feel that the only way we can get rid of these portal objects created by mistake is to delete from the server side - the source folder from irj .
My question: Where can we go and delete these portal objects from the server root. i.e. ../irj/prt/....
(the folder that store the pcd objects)
And the safety procedures we need to follow in order to remove these portal objects without harming the portal itself.
Or at least now, how can we see the depth of this folder hierarchy?
(Message for those who using PCD Tool: This powerful tool can faster your portal objects creation and mass actions, BUT it can bring you a disaster when you make a ONE CLICK MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!)
