We need to migrate from CE7.3 EHP1 SPS9 Portal to CE7.4 Portal and would like to know your comments/suggestions/experiences on the same.
Following are our landscape layout: -
1. Consumer Portal (to be upgraded from CE7.3 EHP1 SPS9 to CE7.4)
2. Consumer Portal is connected to 10 producer portals (NW7.0) via RAI (remote app integration).
3. Consumer Portal is connected to SAP ECC R/3 backends (WD ABAP iViews, BSPs, ITSs, UWLs)
4. Consumer Portal is connected to CE servers hosting BPM applications (WD Java apps, UWL workitems)
Queries: -
1. What will be impact on connected producer portals?
2. What will be impact on SAP ECC R/3 integrated apps?
3. What will be impact on CE servers?
4. Would there be any Portal content migrated required?
5. We have done many configurations on NWA level for many applications and there are many backgroud jobs that are configured.
Would these need to be re-configured?
6. Would there be any need to migrate DCs that are present in track?
7. We have SPNEGO based kerberos SSO configured. Would this need to be re-configured?
All these that I can think of now.
Kindly share your comments and also, please bring out topics that I might have missed.
