We will be implementing the Standalone SAP E-Recruitment (On Premise) for a customer based on Ehp7 HR Renewal 2.0 FP3
HCM core modules will be in one server and a dedicated server for E-Recruitment and all the applications will be integrated in a Central SAP Netweaver Portal 7.4 SP8.
As usual I can do the below to get the ESS/MSS integrated in portal.
1. Create a system object with required system alias (excluding eRec) to connect to HR system. Here the UI5 based Unified Inbox is used for the approvals functionality as part of My Approvals in MSS.
Now,i have the question in integrating the E-Rec which is installed on separate dedicated system into the portal.
My assumption is,
1. Create a system object with E-Rec system alias and connect with SSO.
2. Activate the BizFunctions in ERec system.
Now the Questions:
1. Question on Portal Content:
Now can I just import the back end PFCG roles for Recruiter and Recruiting Administrator and assign the roles to the users.
(OR)
Do I need to Install the Portal Business Packages for Recruiter and Recruiting Administrator in portal and assign the roles.
Which way I have to follow as from Ehp6 onwards there is no portal content shipped separately and the integration is through the Back end PFCG roles.
2. Question on E-Recruitment system Business Workflows into central portal.
Since we are using the Unified Inbox for Business System Workflows, how can I integrate the Workflows from the ERec Systems in Portal.
Since the UI5 based approvals lanes are used for UI5 based ESS/MSS.
How the workflows in different systems can be integrated to the Unified Inbox (config settings )
