We are experiencing slow response time in the e-Recruiting portal, particularly with postings that have over 500 applicants. It takes the recruiters about 30 seconds to open an application and then another 10 to 15 seconds to open the attached resumes and cover letters when they are in word document format. However, when they are loaded in pdf format, it is much faster. If someone has to open 500 applications, the waiting time really adds up.
Actually, this slowness in response time is not isolated to just the e-Recruiting module. Our SRM and ESS users are finding the response on the portal very slow as well. Our basis person said that it is not a server issue. Can anyone provide some suggestions to speed up to response time?
