Building description using taxonomy in SAP MDM 7.1

Hi Folks

Can some one quickly help me on the sugegstion to build the Short and Long Descripion in SAP MDM 7.1 .

I have Taxonomy in my Repository, and want to get the description builded as per its selection .

Like CalssCode followed by the Values selected to the attribites...

<ClassCode><val1><val2>

The difference for Short description and Long Description is only the width , Short description is restricted to 40 in width and Long is text Large.

Please let me know if I should be achiving this logic in portal or MDM. I dont think there is any provision in MDM, please help me with any code for Portal SAP MDM 7.1 SP09.
