Portal Quick Search Does not work in Staging Server

Hi Experts

IN our Staging Server, the Portal quick search does not seem to work. it works fine in DEV

The Roles Index provider has been enabled, however when we try to reindex it - it always fails.

The Service is running fine in NWA.

Any pointers would be helpful.
