session is active in backend even after closing the browser

Hi All,

My session is not destroying when closing the IE browser without logging off.

Issue detail:

1) Log in to the portal

2) Access any backend application in the portal.

3) close the browser without logging off.

4) Run the portal url again in the IE address bar

After running the url, its redirecting me to the portal home page. this should not happen. It should ask login credentials

SAP Netweaver version: 7.31 SP 7

1) ABAP security session enabled in portal : yes/no

2) pop up blocker : yes/no
