Expression in Application parameter property for WDJ application is not working in 7.4

Hi,

Recently we migrated our custom webdynpro java application from 7.0 to 7.4 version. It uses EJB 2.1 for business logic layer.

Since Iview concept is not there in 7.4 for WDJ application we copied the application and created page and passed the application parameterforthecorrespondingpage as name=<User.LogonUid>,wherein the application parameter expression <User.LogonUid>  is not getting evaluated, it passes the same value to the application in portal 7.4

On previewing the page, (Attached screenshot) it has no name parameter in the url.

How to pass value to this Application Parameter via page in portal 7.4?
