I am new to ESS/MSS . In my portal end user was created leave request and this request went to manager approval manager also approved his leave request. but approved request was not saved in SAP system.
The problem is recently my ABAP team was added extra filed in BAPI that time on-wads getting the problem .

I got the below mail from client for your better understanding....
When the leave request has been approved by CAM team is sent to SAP to create an absence record in infotype 2001.
BAPI called ZBAPI_CAM_NONAVAIL_CREATE is called to create the absence record. This BAPI has been enhanced for this fix to have an additional input parameter passed from Portal so that the code can identify its a record generated by a referral & skip some validations:
Input parameter IV_REFERRAL is populated with an SAP system passed from Portal if the record is generated by a referral ... It is this parameter/functionality on the Portal side.
Could you please help me on this its very urgent ..
Better can you please explain Step by step procedure..
