Dear Experts,
Our Current ECC system is Upgraded to Netweaver 7.40 and SAP_BASIS Component is “SAPKB74012”. Recently we upgraded Kernel Version to 329 (We have this issue after Kernel Version upgrade only and before this version it was working fine).
The actual issue is, when we try to access ECC ABAP Report from Portal landing page (Home Page) from IE11 Browser then it is giving error “initialization of sap gui for html failed: [object error]” and not displaying the report.

I have analyzed this issue and exception is raising in bootstrap.js code. The URL of this JS file is:
https://xxxxxxxxxxxx:xxxx/sap/public/icmandir/its/lsgui/js/bootstrap.js?329
The pop up is triggering at following code (Please check attachment2):
And reason for this Exception is (Please check attachment3):
So this exception is raising at function new XMLHttpRequest(); and I am not able to debug further from this point. I believe it is something related to JavaScript standard function “XMLHttpRequest” and while accessing this function from Internet Explorer.
FYI, I also checked SAP-IE parameter in WEBGUI service (in SICF) but this parameter was not set in this service. So we added SAP-IE parameter with value “EDGE” and “EMULATEIE8” but issue is not fixed.
