We are planning to upgrade Java patches in SAP Portal 7.30 from SP 04 to SP 09.
As per documentation, SDM/JSPM write information about development into the file system and
Bootstrap Java program syncronize the binary data from Java database with the local fiel system.
Question: During the upgrade, does upgrade process update the database for new patches
or write the information about new deployment to the file system? What does binary data mean when
Bootstrap Java program syncronize the data from Java database with the local fiel system?
