redirect away from accessing the login page

Hi,

I am trying to redirect the users to some html page which was saved on the server, when the users access the portal URL. (http://<host>:<port>/irj or http://<host><port>/irj/portal). The users should not even see the login page.

I have seen the index.html at this path \usr\sap\<SID>\<instance no.>\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root and made changes to this html page to redirect to another page. But the login page is still coming. It's not being redirected another page.

Can you please let me know how can I achieve this?
