Hi everyone,
our BASIS team upgraded the SAP portal from 7.3 to 7.4, the upgrade procedure did not report any kind of error but now we are having a lot of issues with existing Java WebDynpro applications.
We are having errors like:
com.sap.tc.cm.base.exception.BaseModelRuntimeException: Must not assign null to primitive type 'boolean' of attribute 'xyz' in model class 'com.xxx.mmwebwr.wd.models.writeacc.Zsmw'
or java.lang.NullPointerException in the standard method "wdCopyContext", as we are proceeding with regression test we are discovering a lot of errors on standrad code.
We had the same issue when we tried to upgrade to 7.31 but we decided to rollback the system and wait for a new release, due to project deadlines.
My question is: do we have to redeploy avery single webdynpro (back to the 7.31 that didn't solve anything), or maybe the BASIS team skipped some optional step?
