I know languages are not installed in Enterprise Portal but i have a few queries on this subject.
I read through note 1013521 and understand that i need to adjust configuration around the service locale_list_service. We use LDAP for portal authentication. Does that change anything or we still follow the note to the tee and then adapt the user settings via personilization/UME settings. Also where do i obtain information relating to NLS supported language abbreviations. I know which languages I need however couldn't locate the abbreviations from standard documents. Any pointers / thoughts in this regard are much appreciated.
Also if any one has implemented multiple languages in portal, can you share if there are any dependencies with other software components that exist in portal(like business packages and others) or other connected portals(other java based systems that integrate with portal).
