what could be the problem. How to solve this please suggest.

I am trying to use the class com.sap.security.core.util.notification.SendMailAsynch to send notifications in 7.3 portal. The class is available in sap.com~tc~sec~ume~core~impl.jar file. I am however not able reference this jar in my application. I have created a DC and edited the classpath variable BIN_EXT as described in the post http://scn.sap.com/thread/2125638 , but the build is resulting in build errors as below. There  are no errors during compilation and the paths are correctly resolved.

I also tried adding the jar file directly to the buildpath with the same result. What is missing? Is there any way I can define a dependency to this jar file?

Hi Experts,

I am using NWDS 7.0.

Here I imported an WDJ DC from NWDS, after  that re-imported the model of the particular DC. Then I tried to build the DC. It was taking too much of time. so I closed the NWDS from task manger , I am having an open activity for the same( for model re-import).

But here come the tragedy, after that when I open the NWDS, its not responding even for hours.

How to resolve this problem.

If I delete the .metedata or .dtr or .dtc, this will affect my open activity. also make in-consistency for the open activity.  Help me on this inconsistency.

Our client is using ECC 6.0 EHP 7  as the backend system.

They want to implement SAP Portal for ESS/MSS activities.

Please give a clarity on the below points:

1) Which portal version is compatible with EHP 7..Can we go with either Portal 7.30 or Portal 7.40.

2) Which Latest busuness package for ESS/MSS to be deployed to portal , which contains all WD ABAP applications ???

    (Is it WDA 1.50 ??)

3)What other points should we keep in mind, while implementing portal for ECC 6.0 EHP 7??

Iview look and feel is different in consumer and producer. It is working fine in normal portal but in central portal the iview content is not looking good(table details are not clear , looks like merged on one on one and graphics are also not good)

We recently upgraded our all production portals to SAP NW 7.31 SP7

(Migrated them from windows to Linux).

While taking the export in production portals, we are stuck at a stage

while defining parameters.

We did not move further if we tried the all the passwords at this stage.

We ran the key phrase check tool and found the key phrase we are

supplying is correct with the below command that tells us on the

sapinst screen

'<global directory>/sltools/checkKeyPhrase(.sh) -f <global

directory>/security/data/SecStore.properties'.

so the problem is not with the key phrase

We are stuck with system copy export as our refresh is halted because

of this issue.Screenshot is attached.

My requirement is as follows:

We have made DMS our document repository but no all our employees have SAP access and we are required by law that our documents are readily available to all employees.  To ensure compliance we currently maintain the documents on a network share and in DMS which posses a risk.

So to achieve this we wanted to make access to our portal anonymous and then give the people access to the Taxonomies to the documents

What we have done:

We have setup SSO via portal making use of Kerberos

I have been able to get my anonymous access to work on my portal 7.31.  All the relevent iViews and content has been set to allow anonymous access.

We have DMS, TREX and taxonomies setup

Authenticated user are able to see a list of documents and are able to open them.

However when my anonymous user opens the indexes they are empty (no files are listed).

Access to the taxonomies are achieved through a custom HTML page with links in such as this (same file authenticated users access)

I've the following issue in an OBN scenario. We use the apprasial document of ESS with our portal and the HCM. Therefore I've created two iViews. The first is in the navigation and shows the list of documents. This works fine. The second one isn't in the navigation but the users (groups) are assigned (permission screenshot is attached). This iView is assigned to the BO employee.

Now when I try to call the appraisal document of one employee from the first iView then the new browser window opens and a portal exception was thrown. The Log is attached. On the Business objects everyone has read and execute permissions.

What can be the reason?

Hi SAP Net Weaver Gurus

In the past I have configured OADP columns with a "Z" configuration ID
in the Java portals and then created an Iview referencing the "Z"
configuration but how does it work with Net Weaver EHP7 (NWBC) ?

Should I still configure OADP to change the columns ? How do I
link Net Weaver to my Z configuration ?

We have a page to which iview is assigned in QA. But when i click this in portal, it is asking for production credentials. Some times we copy the configs from production to QA.

I understand that we have maintained the production details some where. But unable to identify whre it is ? And i checked thouroughly the properties of Iview.

Can someone please give me some information on this.

I have an Enterprise Portal 7.02 which is used by users to access ESS/MSS

I also have a BW 7.3 (ABAP/Java Dual stack) which is used to display BW reports with its own Portal. Since this Portal has BI Java usage type, it can display different types of BW reports.

I would like to get some clarity on the following:

1) What type of BW reports I can execute from my Enterprise Portal. I know there are Application Integration iView templates by default. Can I use them to display BW reports

2) What additional type of BW reports I can execute from BI Java Portal (which cannot be executed from Enterprise Portal)

We are facing issues with links in portal  application after migrating the ECC system to cloud.

The hyperlinks in  Webdynpro Abap application(having POWL list) are not responding at all . nothing is happening after clicking on links.

The same is working when accessed from backed.

we are seeing the  "Javascript:void(0) "  in the browser can this be cause  ??

We are trying to find out if there any Standard Dashboards/Reports that come with standard BI Content for SCM module/Procurement.

From the below link, we could find only two dashboards (Warehouse Performance Dashboard and Labor Management: Executed Workload) are available,

1. Could anyone please guide us if there are more Dashboards that comes as standard BI content for SCM/Procurement module
