How to achieve load balancing from portal to SRM through web dispatcher

Hi Experts,

I have been searching for this solution since weeks. this is my scenario.

we have portal NW 7.31 and there is web dispatcher in front of the portal. we have SRM (7.02) connected to portal as backend.

SSO is configured and working fine.

when we set up the system alias for SRM system on portal, we selected as load balancing instead of dedicated application server.

Both SRM and Portal are on cluster (HA).

SRM has (message server and enque server) on virtual host. and has two app servers( SRM A(disp+work.EXE) and SRM B(disp+work.EXE)).

now the issue is catalog transfers are not happening when connected with message server of SRM in (ITS and webAS host) on portal.

but works fine when connection is pointed to single application server of SRM.

how does http load balancing work in this scenario? with connection pointing to single app server we cannot achieve load balancing.

and when we try connecting to SRM message server catalogs transfers are not happening.

please could someone give me the solution for this?
