I am trying to resolve this issue since a week but not able to solve it, so i need your help.
The Problem is when i assign a collaboration room to a user, the room is assigned but when the user clicks on the room link it gives the "404 Error - The requested resource doesn't exist". But if a new room is created and give access to the user, the user is able to open the new room through the link and view the documents.
The Unique thing about the error is, it doesn't occur for every user it happens with few users, since I am the super_admin I am able to view all the rooms without getting such "404 error" even for once.
I have tried by setting up all the permissions to the room and also assigning Everyone role to the rooms, still the problem persists.
I am unable to find a solution for this, so need your help.

We are opening webdynpro application from enterprise portal in Google Chrome.
we are using https connection for the application. it is only showing a blank screen when opening using chrome.
the same application running properly in IE.
additional information: EP is 7.00 and SP25.

About BI-BASE-B version is 1000.7.40.2.20.20130621014800 in portal,when we select value in radio to query report which lend to white screen,so i think that may be issue.But if i set manual value to query report,it is fine.So Connection is available for system NBPCLNT800 in portal.

I configured CTS+ for my SAP Portal 7.0 (SP 26) and SAP Portal 7.3 by using my SAP Solution Manager 7.02 SP 10.
I try to export my iview from my sap portal the following error appear:
"No valid transport request found; consult your system administrator"
This is very strange because I created a TR by using the Transport Organizer web UI before the export of the iview in sap portal.

when im logging in to my portal im getting an java pop up with message as "The website certificate could not be found do you want to continue" .
on click of more information , another popup with heading more information and content as follows
The certificate was issued by a source that is not trusted
The certificate has expired
The application being loaded from a site other than the one specified in the security Certificate.
Downloading from "xxxxxepd00" ("xxxxxepd00" is my host entry for the server ip).
Exepcting "local host".
why is this pop up occuring should we do any configuration or change setting in the browser.

Our environment details:
SAP Netweaver Portal 7.4
Integrated with SAP BO BI Platform 4.1 SP3
We have some dashboards published in SAP BO BI Launchpad. The users view the dashboards from hyperlinks in SAP NW Portal.
Since we upgraded our BO version from 4.0 to 4.1, the users are unable to view dashboards from portal - it just displays a white blank screen. This is happening only for IE (checked in version -9,10,11). With Firefox 29 and Chrome 34, the dashboards displays properly.
Any idea ?

I have to develop a JEE applicaiton which should read the content of a .properties file in the KM-content of the portal.
My NWDS is on version 7.3.
My problem:
I implemented following code and it doesn't show any errors during developing but ends when deployed and opened on the browser in an 500 Internal Server Error with this error message:

As far as I know. the used methods are all available for version 7.3 but the Exception UserManagementException was replaced by UMException with version 7.1. Why is it showing this message though the method throwing it appears to be a 7.3 method?
I appreciate fast answer because the application needs to be finished quickly.

I have a requirement to expose ESS/MSS outside firewall. From my research looks like, external facing portal may not work for heavy webdynpro applications like ESS/MSS. Is it true with 7.3 portal? if so is there any other way to make ESS/MSS to accessed over internet?. FYI, portal would be 7.3 and ESS/MSS would EhP6 WDA.

We are trying to configure SunOne LDAP to sap portal 7.31. we already configuring to MSADS LDAP and it works fine.
I created a custom datasource file and added both the LDAP details and configured according to a procedure available on help.sap.com ( configuration of Multiple LDAP data sources). After that we bounced our system. I can able to see the LDAP entry under user administration - ALL Data Sources. but when i try to search a user, it says "no element found".
SunOneLDAP Details:
hierarchy : flat with read only
server name: xyz
server port : secured port number
username: created a service user id in LDAP which has read only permissions
password : xxxxxx
user path : OU=USERS,O=xyz.com
group path: n/a ( ldap doesnt maintain groups)
imported the ldap certificates in our sap portal system.
all the above properties are entered in custom xml file with both ldap details:

I had connected to the production server from portal and able to view the transactional Iviews successfully from the portal with SAPGUI for WINDOWS.
Now i want to make these trasactinal ivews <b>web enabled</b> through the portal.So i had I had activated the ITS services WEBGUI and it is working succesfully also.
Now i had changed the SAPGUI for WINDOWS to SAPGUI for HTML. its not working with SAPGUI with HTML. wat could be the reson?
Please help me wat i need to do made SAPGUI for HTML work from portal?

In our project we are using WPC and KM to show some documents to end-users. We are on 7.31 and using Ajax Framework page.
We have written HTML docs which shows initial content and that HTML also have some links to other internal KM HTML files.
We have a home page with different iViews. Few for KM News Browser Navigation iViews and Few URL iViews which will display the HTML Content.
The Issue is when I use target as _Parent or _top on Anchor tag of the HTML in URL Navigation iView, It is displaying the content on same window without Toplevel and Left Detailed Navigations. If I Use _self as target it is displaying the html inside the URL iView.
I need something which can work to open on entire Content area. Not on the URL Iview or not the whole window.
How could I achieve this? Could someone please help me on this?

While trying to read the parameter(j_username) from the JSP file. It is returning null.

Hi All,
We are working with SAP Netweaver Portal 7.4 SP04. We have customized the logon page, we were able to achieve the custom look and feel.
For the aliases /irj/portal and /nwa, the custom logon page got reflected.
For the anonymous page, we have created an url iView (URL example: /customeralias/customanonymous.jsp) and embedded. Look and feel everything looks fine. But when we hit the Logon button we are getting the attached error.
Kindly help us in this regard to resolve this error.
