FPN in Portal 7.3 not working

Hello All,

 

FPN in portal 7.3 is not working. Please advice.

 

Errors found in logs -

1.

Could not validate SPNEGO token.

Error related to creator of BW KM content

Hi Experts,

 

If I am creating or modifying the KM contents in BW production portal, It is not showing me in a created by or modified by property for that particular document.All users are facing the same issue.It shows one particular SAP ID as a creator for all the BW documents.

What will be the solution to resolve this issue can anyone suggest me?

Display Profit Center & GL Account in 2 Seperate Columns in Report Painter Report

Hello All,

 

I am building a Report Painter Report for Inventory Balances. As psrt of my requirement I have to display GL Account & Profit Center ina different Column & their Balances for each month on this Current Fiscal Period. As/of now I am only able to have both GL Account & Profit Center in the Same Lead Column? And it is perfect if I look on the Report but when I download all the GL Account & Profit Center are not seperated with Color, so it becomes confusing. I need to have  execlty the Report as Same Format S_PL0_86000030.

 

How can this be achievable? Thanks for your valuable input?

Hi SDN,

 

I have created an iview using BW query string. I have clicked on Save As button in Variable

Entry screen.Now in model window provided description and clicked on Ok, to save it as user

variant, it is throwing following error dump.

 

The initial exception that caused the request to fail was:

 

Exception condition "X_MESSAGE" raised.

500 Internal Server Error: SAP ESS iView Family/Dependents

Hi Guys!

 

I have an issue regarding the iview family/dependents (lang: Dutch).

(com.sap.pct.erp.ess.13.fam)

We can start the iview properly, but when trying to create/edit/delete one of the subitems the following error is raised:

Note: we don't have modified anything in the Portal or Backend regarding the functionality.

SAP Portal 7.3 Theme Editor - Selected iview in DTN

Hi Experts

 

 

As per the requirement from the client the Selected Iview should show the different color in the 7.3 SAP Portals.  By using the theme Editor in Portal I have checked the options.

I don’t see any specific property to change the selected the iview in the Portal. I have also referred the following doc from SAP from the section 4.6; customize the Detailed Navigation (DTN)

Hi All,

 

is there a way to do mass user maintenance in EP (7.01) just like we use SU10 in the ABAP stack? We need to change the user mapping for system access for all users (400+) for MDM catalog integration.

Issue with the Help Center not opening in the Side Panel

Hi Experts

 

  I am working on SAP NW Portal 7.3.

  I am facing issue with thehelp center iView added to the WD ABAP Application.

 

  When I am trying to access the Help Center it opens in a new window instead of opening in the side panel (expected output)

 

  The application is working fine in quality but the issue occurs only in Production.

 

   I have checked the WD_GLOBAL_SETTING application and the value set for the WDHELPCENTERDISPLAY parameter is Default Setting in both the QA & Prod which is the same as suggested in the scn link :Webdynpro Global Parameter - Help Center

 

  Moreover I am passing the application parameter value as WDHELPCENTERDISPLAY=SIDE_PANEL in the iView because otherwise no action occurs on clicking the HelpCenter.

 

Please suggest.

Refresh time of workflow items

Workflows items which come in task folder of SAP Portal take around 15-20 seconds to get refreshed.

 

Is there any way to reduce the time taken to refresh? Is it suggestible?

Disable in Auto-complete POP in IE and Firefox though NWA login module.Below comment from security issue.


Browsers have a feature to remember the recently typed wed addresses, web form entries, usernames and passwords. When a user starts typing, the browser suggests possible matches. This feature is known as "Auto-complete" in IE and "Remember Passwords" to remember the username and password, then every time a user logs in to the application, the browser asks the user to remember the password. If the user had accidentally or intentionally clicked "Yes", a local adversary can log in with the "remembered" password of the previous user. The browser stores the save password either as clear text or in a form that is easily reversible by an adversary.


Please tell me where i can get the NWA login (https://hostname:port/nwa and https://hostname:port/index.html)  par file or any setting in server side ,please give me the answers.

 

Not Login irj/portal. i want NWA only.

how to get the specific name of the workset which is currently selected by the user in sap portal 7.0

Dear Expert,

 

I have one requirement like to read the selected workset name in portal by the current user.I have read two documents regarding how to retrieve the PCD contents (iViews, Pages, Worksets and Roles) and its properties like Created by, Changed by, Last changed by and others using PCD API.

when I clicked on a tab in SAP portal link, it is giving me an error "internal server error" rest of the tabs are fine, I understand that it is trying to communicating with other system. I would like to know the back end system that is trying to connect when I click on a tab.''

Hi Everyone,

 

When deploying Web Dynpro application on production environment, do we need to restart the sap portal system and server?

 

I have this issue that when ever we deployed new develop Web Dynpro application with new Abap Function module we need to restart our Enterprise portal production server. Is this really necessary. Is there other way to deploy Web Dynpro application with new Abap function module without restarting the server.

getting pop up in Log off procedure in sap EP

Hi experts,

when  we click log off Link in portal , we are able to see a pop up (processing the logoff--- with message like closing sessions)  .it takes few seconds and then logs off completely , can any let us know to avoid getting such pop up and log off the portal.

 

This pop up we are getting in fire fox .

In Google chrome and IE it is working fine.

The steps that we’ve followed in SAP EP 6.40 are:

  1. Modify web.xml from SAP EP 6.40 to defining the new Alias (portal/interop) with the parameter “nested_window=1”.
  2. Create a framework and a desktop to include the content
  3. Modify the rule collection to display this desktop by the new “alias”.

 

The steps in 7.40:

  1. Show the content by an URL iview,:
  • URL = https://MyInnerPortal/irj/portal/interop
  • NavigationTarget = ROLES://portal_content/com.mycompany.folders.crm/com.mycompany.Roles.roles/com.mycompany.roles.Collaboration/com.mycompany.worksets.mycompany_room/com.mycompany.pages.room_directory_mycompany

 

 

In “PORTAL_1.png” attachment you can view the correct embedded, then it’s correct the use of alias, framework, desktop, etc..

In “PORTAL_2.png” attachment you can view the error when you try to navigate in all of parts(links) of embedded view. Also, the navigation by TLN of portal container (7.40) is inactive with the same error.

 

 

I have integrated other content and working properly.

It may be an incompatibility to embed the Collaboration Rooms, with these versions of SAP EP or all versions?

Incorrect Leave Request opening from UWL

Hi All,

 

When Approver opens leave request from UWL it is opening incorrect leave request.

 

Scenario:

 

Employee has created 3 leave requests , so 3 workitems are generated in Approver's UWL.


When Approver  clicks on 3rd leave request it is displaying the first request instead of 3rd request and after that if we click on the next button it is moving to

the next request.

 

We are using standard task -TS21500003.

 

We have also implemented note - 1600953 and uploaded XML file with high priority.

How to Change the standard Error Pages in EP 7.0..?

Dear Experts,

 

We are using NW 2004s EP 7.0 SP 12 Server.

 

Please give me a solution to show Custom Error Pages(with simple message using HTML or JSP) instead of standard Portal Runtime Error message for Portal Applications or all the java Exceptions in WebDynpro like NullPointerException or JCO Exceptions and file not found exception.

 

I searched a lot regarding this on SDN and checked SAP Note 795699 and SAP Help link--SAP Library - Using Java

In Help link process only Dispatch error working.404 Error also working that to some times only. Reaming Error Page also i need. 

 

But couldn't get any good solution for Portal and WebDynpro Applications as the Note and Help Link only talks about web.xml (simple servlet or Jsp web applicaiton).

 

 

Please let me know whether it is possible with E.P 7 SP 12.
