Default Coder in VIM in SAP Portal

Hi all experts,


When set and save the Default Coder in VIM in SAP Portal under Personalise setting, the next day or next time the coder's name is disappeared in the VIM SAP Portal screen and the most important is invoice does not route to the default coder set.

Have checked Chart of Authority, the two users (Approver and Default Coder) exist in User Details and COA Details. Approval COA and Optura User Mapping Object tables also have the two users.


Any idea/help to share what is the problem or missing configuration ?  Thanks in advance.

While searching KM content getting error

Hi experts,

 

                 I am having SAP EP 7.3 SP11.While searching in KM content, I am getting this exception :-

 

Cannot process an HTTP request to servlet [prt] in [irj] web application.

Would you please add one entry to symptom as "OrgUnit field in IT0001 displays 00000000". This would be more specific and help consultants find what they need.

WPC Editor component

Hi,

 

I am trying to create a new custom editor component (Radiobutton, weird that SAP doesn't provide one out of the box) in WPC for our Portal 7.4 system. I am using the following document to guide me:

But when I try to use my custom editor component in my WPC form, I am getting the below error:

NWA Log Viewer - Sort by columns

Hello Experts,

 

I'm using NWA log viewer (J2EE version is 7.31 SP7).

Is it possible to sort by columns?

It doesn't make sense donwloading to excel just for sorting )-:

 

Am I missing something?

unable to copy the producer content into consumer portal - FPN issue

Hi Experts,

 

We are getting portal runtime error when trying to access the existing producer content in consumer portal.

 

When I check the detfault trace logs, com.sapportals.portal.prt.runtime.PortalRuntimeException: iView not found:pcd:/xx/xx

sometimes i am getting error like

 

javax.naming.NoPermissionException : pcd/xx/xx

 

Can you please let me know the root cause of the above issue.

 

 

Also when I am trying to copy the producer pcd content into consumer pcd content, I am getting the below error.

 

Could not create remote delta link to object'portal_content/xx/xx/xx. Unexpected error occurred, contact SAP Support.

 

Can you please throw some light to analyze the issue. Thank you.

I have to make an application on NWDS that reads the keywords and description data from the iview profile and puts them in the head section of the html page in which the iview is contained.

 

Is there any tutorial available?

Hello all,

 

We are facing this error DataNodeInfo(FcPerFamilyBR.SelectedInfotype): unknown child node Excep in some Portal applications after the EHP6 upgrade.

Affected applications are Per_Bank, Per_Family and Per_Personal. When we click process/edit button on these applications, we get the below java error.

LSO Error with Android Devices - LMS API

In SCORM CLoud, I can select "Wrap SCO Window with API".  This will avoid the error I'm receiving, "unable to acquire LMS API."

 

Is there something similar I can do with LSO?

SAP Portal - UME - Biller Direct Tab

Hello Eperts,

 

In the UME of the portal when viewing an ID we can see the BILLER DIRECT Tab where you can view the profile of the user ID in the backend (ECC) and also assign Business Partners. All of sudden we noticed that this tab no longer shows up. Any idea what to do about this situation or where to check?

Hi

 

I am woring on Portal 7.3 and NWDS 7.3

I have downloaded the WAR file tc~sec~ume~logon~ui

and made the changes to the JSP file

Now I need to change the text in the following logon Page

 

Logon Problems?Get Support   

 

 

I can see the text is present in tc~sec~ume~logon~ui_core.jar file

I made the changes to the logonLabels.properties and  logonLabels_en.properties

 

My Question is

 

How do I deploy the changes of tc~sec~ume~logon~ui_core.jar to the server

How do I see the changes in portal

NWDS ( Java) Transport without NWDI using CTS or Solman!

Hi Team,

 

Is is possible to do NWDS Transport for Java based objects without having NWDI , I assume may be using CTS or Solman ?

We do not have NWDI .

Currently we folow the approach of direct deployment in Dev , QA, PROD by changing J2EE settings in NWDS , but want to get rid of this approach.

 

So please advice .

Digital Signature with Digital Certificate

Hi guys,

 

we have an environment with SAP Portal, SAP R/3 and SAP PI, and we are trying to achieve a platform to do digital signature with digital certificate. Currently the client is using a website were the suppliers sign the contracts with a digital certificate. We are trying to check if this could be possible to do with SAP products. We have seen that there is a digital-sign tool in SAP R/3, but I don't know were a supplier could use his digital certificate to sign

 

It is possible in SAP Portal to enter with the digital certificate, and then call SAP R/3 with a WebDynpro to execute the digital signature? Or maybe do you know if there are other possibilities?

I am trying to customize the Logon Help screen, this is the LogonHelpApp screen that appears when you click the link on main SAP Logon page for Logon Problems.   See below screenshot

Can anyone help me please with this requirement

I have been successful customizing the Logon page but have not been able to find any information on changing the text labels of this App.

Issue with Transaction iView

Hi Experts

 

I have configured a Transaction iView for BEx Workbook in our Portal.

 

Portal:  7.0

Transaction: RRMXP

GUI Type: SAP GUI for Windows

Technique: SAP Shortcut File

 

When user clicks on the iView, the shortcut file gets downloaded, SAP GUI Opens and BEx Analyzer is launched as expected. But every time you click the link a new SAP GUI window opens which is annoying.

 

Ø Is there a way to make the iView use the same SAP GUI that is already open? 

There is a note “975004” which limits the number of sessions to 6. I want only one GUI to be opened. Is it possible?

 

SAP GUI for HTML/JAVA doesn’t work with BEx Analyzer Workbooks

Remote access to the NetWeaver Administrator is forbidden

Hi All,

 

I have implemented SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.3 EhP1. After installing I am trying to access SAP NetWeaver Administrator through URL :

 

http://<Portal_Host_name>:50000/nwa

 

but getting below mention message :::

 

403   Forbidden
SAP NetWeaver Application Server

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Error: Remote access to the NetWeaver Administrator is forbidden. See SAP Note 1451753 for details.

   

 

I have referred the mention SAP Note 1451753, but no getting clearly where exactly icm_filter_rules.txt to be placed in the root access of the Portal 7.31 server.

Also no idea where actually the DEFAULT.PFL is located and how to make the required entries as mentioned.

 

1) add entry in default profile : icm/HTTP/mod_0 = PREFIX=/,FILE=$(DIR_GLOBAL)/security/data/icm_filter_rules.txt

2) add entry in icm_filter_rules.txt : if % !regimatch ...
